Behaviour

If we want to avoid this forum becoming a ragbag that would eventually discourage readers, some rules must be set:

1. politeness
Please moderate your language and do not write aggressively. Everyone is free to give an opinion and if you do not agree with some ideas, you should make a good case for your own instead of resorting to abuse. The main argument for this is that your own ideas might make someone change his or her mind on the subject. If you insult people, your ideas won't even be read. Avoid personal attacks, whether slanderous, racist or offensive.

2. answers
Please answer anyone that asks a question or asks for clarification on your messages. Avoid bringing discussions to a halt for no good reason.

3. topics
All topic concerning the Kidal area or, more widely, North Mali or South Sahara are welcome. As administrators, we reserve the right to stop a discussion not in line with this definition.

Moderation

A team of moderators is in charge of reading your messages before they are posted. If a moderator rejects your message for not conforming to the above rules, the words "banned" will appear in red and your message will not be available to the readers. As long as a message has not been validated by a moderator, it is not available for reading ("not yet validated").

Black list

If you abuse the system and repeatedly use insulting or malicious words, the administrator or moderators will warn you, and eventually exclude you from the forum by removing your password. If you are the author of several "banned" messages, you will be immediately excluded. If you give your password to someone who abuses it, you will be the one who is excluded, so you must not give it to anyone.

 

When participating in this forum, you must accept these few rules and undertake to follow them.
